Creating/opening a local repository

  1. Click File > Open > Local repository. The new local repository wizard starts:

  2. Type the directory name (new or existing) on the local disk in the Directory field or click the associated Browse to locate the directory.

Type the user name and password in User and Password fields (you should remember those name and password for future use).

For the new repository, user name and password are arbitrary name and password.

For the existing repository, the user must enter the proper name and password.

  3. Click Finish to create a new or open an existing repository in the selected directory.

If repository structure is not found in the selected directory, wizard creates an appropriate directory structure, stores repository path, user name and password in the program configuration and opens the created repository in the Workbench.

If repository structure is found in the selected directory, wizard stores repository path, user name and password in the program configuration and opens the existing repository in the Workbench.
