Working with categories

Full-text search allows you to manage collections of documents without any additional tools. But often there is a need for information beyond the document content. Categories allow you to organize documents using criteria that may not depend on the document content (e.g. document workflow stages - "new", "active", "completed", etc) or give it a classification (e.g., the same document may belong to categories "science/mathematics/random processes", "finance/stocks/random walk", etc).
